A Note from Leesa

Leveling Up for Fall

Fall is here! It's time to level-up our lives as we prepare to snuggle into cooler weather. This is the season where we look at all we are thankful for.

Faith: Colossians 2:6-10 states, "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power."

What a wonderful gift to be able to abound with thanksgiving as we are complete in Christ! If you don't feel complete in Him or have a question about how to get complete in Christ, reach out.

Fashion: Everything is about BROWN or PURPLE this fall. The good news is that everyone can wear browns or purples, depending on the shade. Brown is a better choice than black for some, as that can wash out complexions. We are always looking to up-level our look by having our best colors near our face. Wearing YOUR BEST will make you look healthier, younger, and more alive! It's it great how captivating we can be! Fall is a great time to get a new coat, if needed. Trench coats are everywhere but as the temps drop, you'll want something heavier. Look to see if you have a coat with fur or get an inexpensive fur collar to add some fun detail. Add a metallic pin to your coat to up-level it without buying new. Belts are being seen on dresses, coats, and even layering pieces. If you gain weight in your tummy, this might be a trend to skip.

Health: One of the most important things about our health is our MENTAL health. As the holidays come, they bring more stress, more people, more activities, and overall less rest. Mental health is essential for a healthy life. God designed us so well but sometimes poor food choices, no movement, and lack of sleep can work against us. A good probiotic can help with mental health, too. Did you know...
 • 90% of your body’s serotonin (a mood boosting neurotransmitter) is produced in your gut
• Gut microbes secrete neurotransmitters like GABA and dopamine.
• Certain gut microbes have the ability to actually reduce stress and anxiety.

Don't have a great probiotic? Reach out!
